Twistleton is at once ugly and beautiful inhabited by a few tortured trees clinging to life amongst the Yorkshire limestone pavement, pushing up through the narrow clints and deep grykes of the scar. The colour and tone of the pavement makes a wonderful landscape photography subject ever altering form and colour with the light and conditions.
