Blue door | Megalohori, Santorini

Most of the alleyways along lining the caldera edge in Oia and Fira are boutique hotels keeping them off limits to all but guests, which is frustrating if you want to document Santorini's architecture. Megalohori solves all of this, here the roads end and splinter into a number of pretty alleyways, awash with white washed houses, blue doors and lazy dogs. It's one of the few traditional settlements left on the island.
